I'm sitting on my patio enjoying the summer and a fledgling Red-bellied Woodpecker is not 12 feet from me at the peanut feeder begging for food while the adult is banging away on the tree across from me. I guess the birds are finally used to me! A blue Jay is in the grass watching me, a trousers is also on the feeders and a hummingbird just took a sip from his feeder.
Life is good!
