I just went birding at Sandy Ridge Reservation before dusk tonight. There were more birds per square foot than I have ever seen. Literally hundreds of birds. Over thirty Great Egrets, hundreds of swallows, dozens of ducks, and several variety of shorebirds.
Two Sandhill Cranes flew in and were calling.
You might want to plan on staying a while. There were more birds than I could count.
