Completely off Ohio, but I know that Ohio birders frequent the southern
extremities of our great nation...
I have to go to Florida in late October for a funeral, and am staying on
both coasts...Sanibel and Merritt Isl.
Does anyone have any local knowledge of the areas or know of anyone down
there I can get in touch with so that I can plan my trip to get maximum use
of my week bird wise? I need basically every local bird down there, and
want to try to get the Wilson's and Snowy Plover. I figure Sanibel will
have most of them, and Merritt Isle/Cocoa Beach will have the rest. But if
anyone has any other spots along that corridor that I should check out (esp
for getting good photo opps) please let me know.
I can provide a list of the birds I am looking for if someone can help out.
Thanks
Steve J
