Things were moving at these 2 adjacent sites in Westerville this afternoon. No big flocks of birds, but lots of diversity, including:
Waterfowl - not much above the Dam, but below had a large flock of Mallards with 3-4 Gadwall mixed in.
Merlin - 1 dashed past the spillway below the dam, headed west (possibly to perch along Spring Road)
Red-headed Woodpeckers - still 5+ birds in the oaks in the NE section of Inniswood Park
Red-br.Nuthatch - a single bird was calling from the conifers around the Inniswood house
Winter Wren - 1 was along the forest loop at Inniswood
Kinglets - Inniswood had 3+ Golden-crowns, while 2 Ruby-crowns were along the spillway woods at the Dam
E.Bluebirds - a flock of 5 birds flew south over the dam while I was there
Cedar Waxwings - small flocks at both locations
Sparrows - a mixed flock of Field, Chipping, Song, White-throated, and 1 Swamp Sparrow was around the playfield in the riparian area below the dam
