I believe I saw the same two cormorants at Cowan this afternoon and in good light I could see the yellow lores on the smaller of the two. Though one cormorant is smaller, I believe in the images from yesterday the smaller cormorant was more distant which exaggerated the size difference.

Subject: Small cormorant at Cowan Lake - Clinton County
There was a small cormorant at Cowan lake around 5:30pm. It was in the water near a Double-crested Cormorant at the east end of the lake, east of the island.
