A pine warbler come to one of my feeders this morning. I could hear
it trilling in a nearby pine, at then it fluttered into the feeder joining the
chickadees and tits. A nice brightly coloured bird, though wet and
disheveled. I have found that pines typically come to feeders in
this sudden wintery weather. I am pretty sure that they are eating the hulled
sunflowers.
Generally busy feeder day. A male purple finch showed up, and six species of
sparrows, including fox.
