I went out this late afternoon. The storms had cleared. Well, at least these
Storms are keeping the flooded fields wet. It’s still shorebird time! Semipalm
Sandpipers outnumbered Least. 2 to 1. 3 WR Sandpipers. And 34 Semipalm
Plovers. This was a flooded field area. The neotropic corm continues at the
Brate Rd. Pond - marsh. It flew off in the direction of the Gilmore rookery.
I'll bet it’s on nest in there. Someday I will lug my scope in and scan what nests
I can.
I will be concentrating on odes over the summer. A nice start yesterday at
Cedar Bog. Love that spot!
Good birding all.
