I saw, and heard numerous Henslows Sparrows and a breeding pair of Blue Grosbeaks along Cowman Rd. in Highland Co. today. Cowman turns off of Cope Rd. between St. Rt. 138 and the little burg of Centerfield. There are a lot of open grass fields along both sides of the road upon turning onto Cowman. The Grosbeaks were about a mile in, and were seen periodically all day long as we were working at a residence, doing repairs on a old house. I couldn't locate their nest but I was obviously close to it because the pair was very agitated.
