I went to Villa Angela/Wildwood State Parks late today from 5:20pm to 6:40pm. I hadn't been there since 10/3 with all the rain. I could only find three species of warblers as it was late. I did have an Orange-crowned Warbler 10/2 & 10/3 but couldn't find one today so late. Here are some of the birds I could find:
Eastern Phoebe 1
Brown Creeper 1
Ruby-crowned & Golden-crowned Kinglets - some of each
Hermit Thrush 8-9
Yellow-rumped Warblers - dozens & dozens
PINE WARBLER 1 - bathing in puddles in Villa Angela (got pictures)
Palm Warbler 1
Song Sparrows - 10
White-throated Sparrows - few dozens
White-crowned Sparrows ~ 10
Dark-eyed Junco 6
Pine Warbler was near the lake, western part of Villa Angela, near where the big sand pile was all spring & summer before they cleared it out recently leaving exposed sand/soil. Then it flew up into one of the four pine trees.
