A quick stop at this northeast Columbus MetroPark this morning found a snowy wonderland with some good birds.  Most of the action was around the Nature center area feeders and Thoreau lake, but birds were all over the park.  Highlights:

Waterfowl - the usual big flock of geese, Mallards, & Black Ducks at Thoreau Lake also held a male Wigeon.

Raptors - I didn't see any, but several hikers reported Cooper's and Red-tailed hawks

Woodpeckers - lots of Red-bellied and Downies around the feeders, but also had 1 Hairy and 1-2 Flickers along the Thoreau lake path

Fruit-eaters - small flocks of Robins & Starlings were roaming the park, but were in even bigger numbers in the neighborhoods just outside (taking advantage of fruit trees).  There were also 3 Cedar Waxwings near the Nature Center

Sparrows - small numbers of Tree, White-throated, and Song around the Center feeders, with Juncos more widespread around the park

Finches - house finches at several of the feeders, while the Nature Center feeders had 1-2 pine siskins
