I went to the woodcock program at Sharon Woods after work yesterday. I
arrived there about an hour early so I took a walk over to Schrock Lake to
see what was on the water. There were 7 horned grebes in transitional
phase. I've been seeing horned grebes on that lake a lot lately.
Yes. We did see a woodcock. He put on quite a show for us.
Other birds seen were Canada geese, mallards, blue jays, numerous robins,
red-winged blackbirds, and one eastern bluebird.
