This morning at Englewood Main Metropark we discovered that the sandhill
cranes had multiplied very quickly after we left at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Dean Porter arrived shortly before 7:30 a.m. this morning and has photos of
175 sandhill cranes, and he saw 25 more that had already taken flight.

By 8:15 a.m. all but 8 had left. Those 8 were still there when we left at
8:30 a.m.

What a treat !!!

Ed and Bev Neubauer
