I stopped briefly at Lorain Harbor. the impoundment had a few ducks,
shorebirds, and other things. birds seen were green and blue-winged teal,
bufflehead, greater scaup, green heron, sora, solitary and spotted
sandpipers, greater and lesser yellowlegs, semipalmated plover, and pipits.
There were a number of palm warblers out there, including two "yellow"
palms.
I also stopped at the wet area on the west side of the river across from the
sewage plant. There were several lesser yellowlegs and a male WILSON'S
PHALAROPE.
