Had a second cycle California Gull flying past Edgewater Park this morning in a huge push of Herring and Ring-billed just after dawn. Gull numbers today were impressive offshore Edgewater and Wendy Park. Best to arrive early to watch birds come off roost in the harbor and marina. The sheer quantity of birds is fantastic. Had short looks at a possible 2nd cycle Mew Gull as well, in a big foraging line east of the pier.
