Hi Birders,
Greg and I birded selected areas in
and around John Bryan State Park this
morning. Most of our time was in
66B2SW, but we also spent a little
time in 66B2CW. Here are some highlights:
PINE WARBLER heard and seen, 66B2CW
Brown Creeper singing within earshot of Pine Warbler
Black Vulture still around; check along SRs 370 & 343
Vesper Sparrow two singing birds in the north end of 66B2CW
Horned Lark north end of 66B2CW
Louisiana Waterthrush 6+ along Little Miami in 66B2SW
Eastern Phoebe 3+ newly fledged youngsters
I'll be checking on these birds, plus others, in about
2 weeks.
good birding
Tim and Greg Spahr
