A colleague of mine lives on Big Darby Creek. While out walking his dog
a couple weeks ago he witnessed a Cooper's Hawk hitting a shallow pool of
water and taking a small fish. He got a good look at it; i.e., it was a
small hawk, banded tail. The way he described it I can't think of anything but
a Cooper's. Anyone ever see or hear of such behavior from a Cooper's?
thanks
Paul Graham
