It's a lovely day, and many listers will be out a-listing, but they may
not have to miss a live radio conversation and call-in on NPR's WOSU
station at 89.7 on the FM dial in an hour or so at 11 am. The station is
in Columbus, but can at times be heard far from here. I am told a
recording will be available online at

Dr. Bernard Master of Columbus is among the world's elite birders, with
a list of 7,800 species--one of them Vireo masteri named after him--and
will talk with Ann Fisher about an exciting life as told in his new
book, "No Finish Line." Regrettably his enormous collection of
photographs won't help on the radio, but listen if you have the chance.
