It was a very slow morning today on the Kendall Lake Trail and the short
loop of the Salt Run Trail in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, what
with only three warbler species (Louisiana Waterthrush, Palm, and
Yellow-rumped Warblers).

Yesterday the most notable bird at Herrick Fen State Nature Preserve was
a Sora Rail. Although the resident Swamp Sparrows there put on their
usual lovely show.
