This afternoon between 2:30 and 3:30pm, Carol Hathway and I saw sandhills flying over her farm on Bishop Road south of Greenville
There were at least 1000 individuals altogether.  At least one flock had over 250 birds.

Other birds seen were
2 soaring redtail hawks (juv)
3 crows
red belly, downy woodpeckers
flicker
C. chickadees
horned larks.
gold finches
