The Ohio Cardinal has always been the journal of record for Ohio birds.
Hence there has been no great hurry about getting copies to subscribers.
My last issue as editor--that for fall of 2007--has been delayed unduly
however, and as I have received many inquiries about it I feel I ought
to explain the situation.
The fall 2007 issue was mailed to me--as desk copies--and to the
publisher by the printer over seven weeks ago, but as far as I know the
mailing process is continuing. Subscribers should receive it soon, I
dare to hope. Antiquated methods and slow postal attention to bulk mail
always cause delays, but this time the lag is unusually long.
I imagine most subscribers will be willing to get the issue whenever it
finally arrives. In the meantime, I am willing to send a pdf--better
than nothing--to them or any potential subscriber on request to my
address above.
