Hope everyone is surviving this heat and we all hope it rains soon and
long. The marsh here is really dried up!

Wanted to let you all know that the Lake Erie Wing Watch Family Weekend
will be held on September 22-23 this year. There will be various
events happening in both Erie and Ottawa counties.

The LEWW website is being updated and there is also a LEWW Facebook
page. If you would like me to snail mail you a copy of the full
schedule and registration details, I would be happy to do that if you
provide me with your mailing address. This year we are focusing on
families and beginning birders.

The martins and swallows are still very active around the Bird Center
here. The Walking Trail and the Boardwalk are both open

Have a nice weekend!

Happy Birding
