Mel and others,
I just saw my first hummer in La Rue while reading your querry, then about
10 min later I saw another. My neighbor across the street has a hummingbird
garden and said he's seen 3 or 4. So I don't really know what to tell you.
My mom runs a golf course but she also has a Masters in Biology is convinced
that the hummer and the bluebird's numbers have been affected by the bird
flu. But she also thinks that I should be living with here instead of my
wife so go figure.
Steve
