A stunning day; the dam really burst in early afternoon coinciding with the
arrival of the strong warm front - birds were literally still streaming overhead
when we regretfully headed home.  Not muchtime to elaborate now, but here's a
quick tally:

Turkey Vulture  1325
Osprey  9
Bald Eagle  3
Northern Harrier  58
Sharp-shinned Hawk  1036
Cooper's Hawk  35
NORTHERN GOSHAWK  1  juv.
Red-shouldered Hawk  33
Broad-winged Hawk  13
SWAINSON'S HAWK  1  light-morph juv; hung around longer than we could have ever
dared to hope - spiraling overhead several times and even allowing nice scope
views
Red-tailed Hawk  381
Rough-legged Hawk  1
American Kestrel  218
Merlin  6
Peregrine Falcon  5

Sandhill Crane  1

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
Cleveland
