Hi Everyone,
I was running an errand this morning after 9AM ,driving through
Logan County, Ohio, when I saw off to one side a huge bird fly onto a tree
branch to the south of US Rt. 33. I drove off of 33 and drove to the nearest
country road which is CR153 and saw it as it flew from left to right . I
then turmed around a mile later to return for a second look when the same
bird or its mate flew in front of my vehicle this time from right to
left . Its wings were mostly a dark color with some whitish banding on each
wing. Its wingspan has to be the widest I have ever seen. Anyboby here on
our list live out there and has seen it or can anyone possibly help with an
ID ?
