I searched the woods behind our yard here in NE Mahoning Co. today and found some neat birds.  This woodland is right on the edge of the steep-sided Mahoning River valley.  Seen and heard were e. wood-pewee, red-eyed vireo, house wren, Swainson's thrush, gray catbirds, cedar waxwings, Nashville warbler, magnolia warbler, black-throated blue warbler, blackpoll warblers, black-and-white warbler, e. towhees, and rose-breasted grosbeak.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
