My first Rough-legged of the season was seen today on Nauvoo Road near
Bundysburg Road in Geauga County. Last year this area held maybe 6 of these
beautiful hawks. The one today gave us a great show of hovering high above
the fields then dropping rapidly to catch its prey. We only had a few
minutes to watch and the bird was too far for good photos. I was able to
clearly see the large amount of white under the wings and white on the
head.

Also saw a Kestrel perched atop a tree in the same field.
