A Northern Shrike was again in my fields, by the power lines, at 9:30 yesterday morning. Watched for a few minutes as he flew to a new perch, went to get my camera, and then spent an hour searching in vain.
Otherwise, 30 tree sparrows, 20 dark-eyed juncos, 3 white-throated sparrows, 1 song sparrow, 25 cedar waxwings, 3 bluebirds and 2 red- tailed hawks, 25 American crows. 50 house sparrows! I stopped put ting out seed after seeing that mob.
