This morning my wife Jane remarked, "What is THAT out on the pasture? A
cat? A turkey vulture?"
I got up, looked out the kitchen window with her, and said, "Nope! A
turkey."
It was a large, robust turkey at that, and the first I have seen here in
2015.
I looked through the binoculars and tried to turn it into a chachalaca. But
alas, try as I might, I could not turn the calendar back two days.
