I went today with Marty & Rob Reynard and JoAnn Kubicki to the Coliseum
grassland. The best and most amazing sighting, and sounding were 6
Henslow's Sparrows. We got a very good sighting of two and heard the
hiccups of many more. We also got Sedge wrens.
Here's an overview:
Sparrows: Henslow's, Savannah, Grasshopper, Song, Chipping
Lots of Bobolinks
Eastern Meadowlarks
Red-winged Blackbirds
Northern Cardinal
American Goldfinches
House Finches
Cedar Waxwings
Northern Flicker
Red Bellied Woodpecker
Tree Swallows
Barn Swallows
Tufted Titmouse
Turkey Vulture.
