I live in Cuy. Co. northwest quadrant (two miles from lake). My father
has placed five feeders around the perimeter of the house. I have
observed three females and two males. RT visit about every 15-20
minutes. We also observed an orchard oriole in the yard and has made
visit to the feeders. While conducting field work (vegetation surveys)for
the Cleveland Metroparks Natural Resource, I have seen RT in South
Chagrin, Brecksville and Rocky River Reservations of Cleveland
Metroparks. I think the birds are attracted to the pink flags.
If my hearing serves me good, I think I have two warm eating warblers
calling the early part of morning. I'm not positive on the id, but the
song and call sounds like it.
