Stopped at 72nd St on my way home from work today and observed quite a few
10+ Savannah Sparrows with a Tree Sparrow on the east end of the wall. Many
Bonaparte Gulls, Red-breasted Mergansers also.
Thanks to Milly Piros there are now 2 confirmed Red-tailed Hawk nests in
Block 41 A 6 (Garfield Heights).
After leaving the cemetery I went to area that overlooks the sandpit  ponds
and had at least 1 Woodcock doing an aerial display.
