Hello Ohio Birders,

At 2:15pm today an adult bald eagle flew over my house in Columbus, just east of High Street and south of the Park of Roses. It was heading west toward the Olentangy River, 1/2 mile away. (One wintered along that stretch of the river in 2004-05 but today's flyover was a new species for my yard list, after 36 years here.)

Happy birding,

Dave Horn
