Hello All!
We had a wonderful new visitor at our suet cake feeder last night! Along
with the usual Downy, Red-Bellied, and Hairy woodpeckers, we had a Red-
Headed Woodpecker visit! He only stayed a few hours (I hope he will be
back again!)..just long enough to sample all of the different kinds of
bird food we have out and to taste a few bugs in our trees. I was so
excited to see him, as I have never seen a RH woodpecker in this area! In
fact, it is only the 2nd I have ever seen! He stayed in view long enough
for me to get a couple pics. What a treat!!
Have a wonderful day!
