Karen Lakus reported seeing a Fox Sparrow and Black-crowned Night Heron by the outflow area across from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. This is along the tow path in Ohio &
Erie Canal Reservation of Cleveland Metroparks.
This morning, outside the visitor center, I heard a Carolina Wren singing. With the cold weather most of the common winter birds have been seen at the feeders:
Many Northern Cardinals along with Black-capped Chickadee, Downy Woodpecker, Red-headed Woodpecker, Dark-eyed Junco, Song Sparrow, Tree Sparrow, White-breasted Nuthatch, American Goldfinch, White-throated Sparrow, Blue Jay, House Sparrow, Mourning Dove, House Finch, American Robin, Red-tailed Hawk.
Also Bald Eagle fly by over the center.
