Nice day at the park because most folks did not want to brave the drizzle
along the old interurban rail bed. 31 species total and the following are
noteworthy birds in the area between the marsh and the covered bridge:

Blackburnian Warbler (treetops on S side)

Canada & Magnolia Warblers (eyelevel and below in same area)

Brown Creepers (carrying caterpillar in bill - working both sides of river)

Scarlet Tanager x 2 (treetops)

Osprey (seen from bridge - flying circles over river then disappeared)

Wood & Swainson's Thrush (N side of trail)

Great-crested Flycatchers (S side high up in the trees)

Blue-gray Gnatcatchers (near bridge just asking to have their picture taken
- NO CAMERA!)
