Took a short walk along our road last night, and came up with both of the
next migrants that I expected to show up in our "neighborhood:" Brown
Thrasher and 2 Lousiana Waterthrushes, all of them singing loud and proud.
The LOWA is a nemesis bird for me - every year I hope to find a nest along
or near the banks of the creek, spending countless hours stalking and
observing and wading in the creek, always coming up empty-handed. Maybe
this year will be the year? (I always think/hope that!)
Good birding!
