As of 10 a.m. this morning, there were approx. 150 sandhill cranes on the
far side of the lake looking out from the first parking area from which you
can view the lake. They are also visible from the main road as you
continue through the park.

Jim Gardiner, park manager, said they had arrived yesterday afternoon
around 3:30 p.m. Hopefully, they will stay around for the CBC on Saturday.

Happy Birding,
Ed and Bev Neubauer, Monte Mercer, Kurt Stein, Clay and Kathi Groves,
Eileen Roberts, Karen Stose, Bessie Reel
