I saw some birds on the Ontario Feeder Watch this morning that I am totally unfamiliar with. The birds were largely yellow to yellow-grey with a grey head and a band of bright yellow on their forehead that extended back a little on each side. The wings were mostly white with black on the outer border. They had finch-like beaks. Can anyone identify them for me? The birds disappeared quickly when a blue jay appeared.
