I checked the beach at Buck Creek State Park near Springfield in Clark
County this morning. I saw several Spotted Sandpipers, 5 Least
Sandpipers, an adult Western Sandpiper, and a Forster's Tern with the
flock of over 100 Ring-billed Gulls. Then I spotted a Lesser
Black-backed Gull in adult plumage or near adult. With it was a bird
that might be a second year Lesser Black-backed Gull.
