Greetings All,
Turkey Vultures have officially been spotted here in Wakeman, Lorain
County. A large flock of 36 was counted on Sunday on Green Road at
Camp Timberline Girl Scout entrance.
For anyone following news of sick pine siskins reported in North
Carolina, I received this post from a friend regarding a recall of
birdseed due to salmonella contamination. She first noted pine
siskins coming to the feeder and suspected peanuts as a cause. The
NC Department of Agriculture has since verified the connection and
requested a recall of certain products . The full story can be read
