There was a Merlin at Englewood Metropark today. It flushed the
shorebirds then perched near the top of a dead trea for 20 minutes or so.

Shorebirds seen were:

Killdeer     205
Spotted Sandpiper     3
Solitary Sandpiper     19
Lesser Yellowlegs     1
Least Sandpiper     3
Pectoral Sandpiper     3

On the Great Miami River across from Carillon Park in Dayton the following
shorebirds were present:

Killdeer     47
Spotted Sandpiper     6
Solitary Sandpiper     3
Least Sandpiper     10
Pectoral Sandpiper     1
