Shane Roberts and I re-found the solitaire about 4:15 PM today. We
were able to get some good photos. The bird seems to be feeding on
the Red Cedars in the first 100 yards of the North Quarry trail. At
one time it was in the largest cottonwood down in the old quarry. We
photographed it within the first 50 feet of the trail at 4:40 PM
feeding on the juniper berries.
