I hadn’t seen the Merlin for several days, between either not being able to stop to look or nature being uncooperative, like with the high winds we had yesterday.

Today when I stopped to look, two American Crows were perched in the Merlin’s favored conifer. As I started to look for it, it flew in and tried to regain its perch without success. It flew to a conifer in Section N/O along the northern border of the cemetery and perched there for a while. Then it left and I resumed my search, relocating it on the stanchion in Section K. It stayed there long enough for me to digiscope some photos I have again included with my eBird report.

Finally, the crows moved on and the Merlin moved to the top of its preferred conifer in Section G shortly before I left at 6:02 pm.
