Theree imm. Little Blue Herons joined 12 Snowy Egrets at Pipe Creek, today, where there were almost no shorebirds. A strafing Peregrine certainly influeneced the latter, as habitat remains quite conducive.
Earlier, I spent some time with four Henslow's Sparrows in a restored prairie on Mason Rd. just west of Frailey Rd. in Erie Co. This land is part of the Erie Metropark's Edison Woods. One of these birds appeared to be a juvenile.
Good birding -
