At last!I heard the first Whip-Poor-Will calling last night right as it was
getting dark. I think this is around the usual time they show up here and
last year's April 2 arrival was really early.
This morning, on my daily walk with my dogs, I heard a Black-throated Green
Warbler and a vireo. The vireo was too far away to hear it well, but I'm
pretty sure it was a Yellow-throated.
