Windy, cold conditions
Small CRP wetland northeast of Leipsic:
2 Great Blue Heron
1 Belted Kingfisher
4 Wilson Snipe
2 Killdeer
6 Northern Shoveler
7 Blue Winged Teal
7 Hooded Merganser
2 Mallard
6 Canada Goose
1 Bonaparte's Gull
Ottawa Reservoir
1 Ruddy Duck
1 Common Loon
~40 Bonaparte's Gull
~30 Tree Swallow
4 Rough-winged Swallow
3 Barn Swallow
1 Bald Eagle (adult)
The eagle is interesting as it is a good distance away from the known Putnam county nest near Rimer.
