Spent some time at East 72nd street in Cleveland today. Too rainy to take camera out, and unfortunately, my gull book was unavailable.
My notes read: "complete black head, dark wings with black wingtips - above and below -no white on wingtips, complete white tail"
Unsure how to decide adult Laughing vs. second cycle Franklin's.
Did see:
Mute swan (bummer)
Ring-billed Gull
Herring Gull
Bonaparte's gull
Great Black Backed gull
Mallard ducks
Northern Shoveled
Northern Pintails
Buffleheads
Ring-necked ducks
Red-breasted merganzers
