5 turkey vultures are soaring over their traditional roost at Rocky Cellars, Chardon. Quite early, but not unexpected, given the weather patterns. The roost usually swells to over a dozen for the nesting season.
They have to chase the crows out in the spring. It gets quite noisy, but the TVs prevail. It is apparently a very desirable spot.
