I was fortunate to see and photograph the Glaucous Gull on Saturday morning. It was also seen later in the day but the small area of open water was freezing fast. This adult Glaucous appears to be in near breeding plumage - beautiful bird. Thanks to Gary Cowell who found the bird several days earlier. This is the most likely the second record for the Bobolink birding area.

Charles Mill Lake is located just south of U.S. Rt. 30 east of Mansfield along the Ashland/Richland county line.
