Yesterday, the Ohio inland record book for great black-backed gulls
got demolished ! Excellent birder, Ben Morrison had 136 ! ! GBBGs, 2
LBBGs, 5 Iceland, 7 glaucous & a Thayer's at Stark County yesterday. Seven
GBBGs were recorded at Dover, Ohio yesterday & up to 10 have been at Dayton
along the Great Miami river recently.
There probably isn't an active Ohio landfill that does not have GBBGs
now.
Great time to be a gull watcher at inland Ohio.
